Ian Hamilton

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian Hamilton who died suddenly at home last night 15th July.

Ian started work with us at the Aldeburgh Bookshop at the end of May and whilst he has worked here only for a short time he has impressed us with his kindness and sweet gentle nature.

Ian is known in Aldeburgh through his work with the Aldeburgh Festival where he was a volunteer for many years. Every year he could be seen helping and welcoming people to the festival which he loved.

We offer our condolences to Brian, his partner of over 30 years.

We will miss him.
